About Ryan Broyles

Ryan Broyles Biography
After receiving offers to play both college basketball and college football, Ryan ultimately chose football simply because his love of football outweighed his love of basketball. Excelling at both wide receiver and cornerback, he then had a decision to make, which position to pursue…this was an easy one. He enjoys scoring touchdowns so he chose wide receiver. Going into college Ryan was the underdog, being the last player Oklahoma offered. From that point on, he was driven to become the best wide receiver to ever play at Oklahoma. In his first college game he set a freshman school record with 7 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown. He went on to become a 2-time consensus All American and set an NCAA record with 349 receptions.

Off the field Ryan studied human relations and graduated in the fall semester of 2011. 2012 was a big year for Ryan as he fulfilled his lifelong dream of playing in the NFL! The Detroit Lions drafted him with the 54th overall pick in the 2nd round. He also married his high school sweetheart Mary Beth Broyles!

When he's not on the football field, you can find him worshipping The Lord, hanging out with his wife, they love going to the movies, and occasionally playing F.I.F.A. His favorite player is Christiano Ronaldo. He also enjoys spending time with his 2 dogs and friends. Ryan is very interested in photography and of course anything sports related.
